Plexi Paintings are mixed media compositions inspired by people from my photography and sketches.  Through the use of loosely drawn figures, I create stories of life, love, faith, and hope. The paintings are on plexiglass, which the viewer will see reflection and transparency layered with canvas, prints, plastics, wood, photography, and drawings. The representation of everyday people, are many times faceless, representing the spirit of individuals and their surroundings being invisible or in the shadows.
